Under the aegis of School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur and Ranka Public Charitable Trust, 8th International Moot Court Competition was concluded over two days. The valedictory ceremony was bestowed with the eminent presence of Chief Guest Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Mehta Senior Judge, Rajasthan High Court and Guest of Honour Hon’ble Mr. Justice G. K. Vyas, Chairman, Rajasthan Human Rights Commission and Special Guest Hon’ble Mr. Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque, Judge Kerala High Court. The competition witnessed participation from law students approx. 50 universities from India and abroad.

The winner of the competition was School of Law Christ University, Bangalore who was given a prize of Rs. 10,000/- and the Runner-Up was declared as NMIMS, Hyderabad who was given a prize of Rs. 7000/-.

In the individual prizes, Best Memorial Award went to Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur. 1st Best Speaker award was bagged by Mr. Nitin Kumar, Viveknanda Education Society College of Law, Mumbai and the 2nd best speaker award was bagged by Ms. Sharanya Kashyap, Christ University Bangalore.

Hon’ble Guests heaped praise for the successful organization of the event and boosted the morale of the participating students.

The ceremony witnessed the gracious presence of Prof. (Dr) G.K. Prabhu (President, MUJ), Prof. (Dr) N.N. Sharma (Pro-President, MUJ), Prof. (Dr) Nitu Bhatnagar (Registrar, MUJ), Prof. (Dr) Jayaram E. R. (Dean, Faculty of Law, MUJ), Hon’ble Justice J.K. Ranka (Retd. Judge Rajasthan High Court), Smt. Urmila Ranka (Chairperson, Ranka Public Charitable Trust) and other dignitaries. Prof. (Dr) Vijaylaxmi Sharma (Director, School of Law), Dr. Sony Kulshrestha (Head Dept. of Law). Shri Sambhav Ranka conveyed vote of thanks on the auspicious occasion. The entire event was smoothly conducted by Asst. Prof. Ms. Nishtha Acharya and Mr. Prabhpreet Singh.
