Rajsamand MP and BJP State General Secretary, Diya Kumari applauded the Modi Government on the passage of the Farm Bills from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and said that this is the first time in history when a party is bringing a bill in accordance with its declared manifesto.
Taking a dig at Congress, MP Diya Kumari said that when the vote bank starts to slide, the opposition comes down to the politics of protest. Instead of thinking about public interest, the party sees its own profit and loss. She further added that the Congress Party has been giving slogans to eradicate poverty for decades after independence. However, these slogans have neither eradicated poverty nor have they led to the economic progress of the farmers. This is the first time that a government has recognized the pain of farmers.
The MP also hurled a serious charge against the State Government and said that there is a conspiracy to provoke farmers against the Central Government and the bill which is condemnable.
Increase in Minimum Support Price of Rabi crops
With regard to the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs’ (CCEA) decision of approving the increase in the Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) for all mandated Rabi crops for marketing season 2021-22, the MP said that all the Central Government is doing all efforts to make farmers prosperous. She expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the committee members for this decision to increase the Minimum Support Price of Rabi crops.
