The registration for ‘A Call for Artist Database’ (as a crowdsourcing initiative) by the State Government has been extended to 31 December 2020. The form has to be submitted on the email address, artistdatabase.jkk@gmail.com. Those interested can fill the form on https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScYcHz6JLxW-YhJjmKD7E48Mq5g9yNRJ11jg8YifM8PQ9obsQ/viewform. This digital initiative aims to collect a database of artists from Rajasthan.
The State Government in association with the Department of Art and Culture and Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) has started a crowdsourcing initiative ‘A Call for Artist Database’. The initiative was launched by Minister of Art and Culture, Government of Rajasthan, Dr. B.D. Kalla on JKK’s Facebook page on 10 October. Information of artists from across the State will be collected through this crowdsourcing initiative. Rajasthan is the first state in the country to take such an initiative.
