The Railway Board has asked the North Western Railway  to send the report at the earliest for preparation of DPR for approval of 170 km gauge conversion of Mavli-Marwar project.

MP Diya Kumari said that Mavli-Marwar broad gauge line is an ambitious project. This rail line will prove to be a lifeline for the people of the area. Expressing gratitude to PM Modi, Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw and the Railway Board, MP Diya Kumari said that after long years and hard work, the Mavli-Marwar gauge conversion project is in the process of becoming a reality.

The MP said that removing all the hurdles in Mavli-Marwar gauge conversion, the Railway Board has called for DPR from the North Western Railway to approve this project. Soon this project will be approved and visible on the ground. MP Diya Kumari said that there were a lot of impediments in this project. Due to this, the project could not progress towards approval on time, but after meeting with the railway officials and talking to the entrepreneurs of the Lok Sabha constituency, it was agreed to provide freight support in this project, which would improve the income of the railways.

Efforts by MP Diya Kumari to clear all the hurdles finally paid off and Railway Board has asked the North-Western Railway to send the report at the earliest for preparation of DPR for approval of gauge conversion of this project. The MP said: “I express my gratitude to the Modi Government on behalf of the people of the region and the country. They have understood the problems of the people of the State and region and given their approval to bring this project on ground .”
