In the Leadership webinar series ‘Education for Generation Z’ conducted by Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) Mission Director of Atal Innovation Mission, Ramanan Ramanathan said that it is necessary to provide suitable environment for innovation to the young talent because innovation itself brings joy, job creation, social concern and the goal of a self-reliant India can be achieved through Innovation only. Jeet Kumar, author, innovator and CEO, In-Time Tech, said that peace, dedication and patience are the key mantras to become an innovator.
Admiring the ATAL mission MUJ President Prof. G. K. Prabhu said that the young talents of the university have emerged as excellent innovators in collaboration with the government and industry and are creating employment by fulfilling social responsibilities. MUJ pro-president Prof. N. N. Sharma welcomed the guests, while the program was effectively handled by Puneet Sharma, anchor of DD News and Dr. Neetu Bhatnagar.
Talking about the Atal Incubation Mission, Prof. Ramanathan said that there is an ocean of talent in India, but they are not able to achieve the desired successes in the country so they settle and work abroad. Keeping this in mind, the Atal Innovation Mission was established under which innovation centers have been set up in educational institutions with the help of Government, where the new dreams and creations are being realized.
Jeet Kumar, who belongs to a small town but created a story of success shared that it is necessary to promote the curiosity of young ones to support innovative thinking at the level of the family. Innovation can find revolutionary solutions to existing problems and many youths can get employment and other opportunities. He further highlighted that We also need to accept the failures of the youth because success is often followed by many failures.
The title of the webinar was ‘Make a Dent: Sprouting, Innovation and Start-up’. The webinar was initiated by the welcome speech of MUJ president prof. GK Prabhu. Prof. Prabhu stated that the university has got NAAC A+ grade with a score of 3.28 and expressed his wish to collaborate with other institutions of learning to strive for excellence.
The webinar was attended by MUJ President Prof. GK Prabhu, Pro-President Prof. NN Sharma, and Registrar Prof. R. Kamath and the faculty, officials, and students of the university along with their parents. Registrar MUJ, prof. Kamath proposed the vote of thanks and appreciated the guests and participants for their valuable inputs and requested to join the next webinar also.
An important objective of this weekly webinar is to prepare the new generation to meet the challenges arising out of Kovid-19. The next webinar on 20 June has renowned author Amish Tripathi as the speaker. Amish Tripathi will talk about the relationship between literature and culture. He will also throw light on the relevance of mythological characters in the modern world. Webinar scheduled on 27th June will be addressed by the country’s top speakers from the spiritual world, social issues (4th July) and on 11th July the topics from industry, business, and management will be discussed.
