Press Release

Rajsamand MP, Diya Kumari expressed her gratitude to PM Narendra Modi and the Central Government, saying that it is a welcome move that it is not allowing e-commerce companies to supply non-essential items during the lockdown. This will increase the morale of the small shopkeepers, retailers and traders serving in the area, putting their lives at risk during the lockdown.

MP Diya Kumari said that there is already discontent among small traders about online trade, so the Government’s prohibition of the supply of non-essential items by e-commerce companies during lockdown is an important step in the system. The benefit of this should be given to the business class serving during the Corona crisis.

It is to be noted that in a press release issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, dated April 19, 2020, the supply of non-essential items by e-commerce companies were prohibited during the lockdown by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
