Amidst Global Pandemic of COVID-19, students of Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) have created a mobile app that provides the user with timely handwashing reminders. The ‘Wash Your Hands’ app reminds the user to wash hands at regular intervals (every 1 hour or more) with the message – ‘It takes only 20 seconds to protect your family’. Apart from this, it reminds you to wash your hands even when you come into the house from outside. The app also features an interesting Corona game, updates of the status of Corona in India and all guidelines by WHO. The ‘Wash Your Hands’ app is completely secure and can be downloaded from www.hstudios.in. The app comes at a time when people lose track of being habitual during the lockdown and washing their hands frequently as instructed by the World Health Organisation. Introducing their creativity during the lockdown, Sushant, Prateek, Atik, Kshitij and Sagarika have successfully created the app under the guidance of Prof. Vijaypal Singh Dhaka, Director of Innovation at the University. It is to be recalled that MUJ also succeeded in making herbal sanitizers.
