Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) celebrated Scholarship Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Ramdas M. Pai, Founder Chairman of the university. In the program, scholarship of more than Rs 6.5 crore was announced to the students. Meanwhile, the President of the Institute, Prof. GK Prabhu spoke about the life of Dr. Ramdas Pai. The program started by the lighting of the lamp.

On this occasion, Prof. GK Prabhu shared inspiring accounts related to the life of Dr. Ramdas Pai, a firm believer in principles. Prof. Prabhu said that no student should be deprived of education due to lack of money and no patient should remain without treatment, this is the basic goal of establishing Manipal Group. Prof. Prabhu said that the scholarship is a small support from MUJ for those students who face difficulties in studying due to financial reasons.

Pro-President Prof. NN Sharma congratulated the achievers on the occasion of Scholarship Day. He threw light on the life of Dr. Ramdas Pai and also spoke about the contribution of the brilliant students who came out of the institute. He informed about the various facilities present in the institute and the research being done. He said that Manipal University Jaipur is of global standard. In the last 11 years, the institute has achieved a great achievement in the field of providing good education.

Registrar Dr. Neetu Bhatnagar introduced the students to the contribution of Dr. Ramdas Pai in the field of education. She gave detailed information about the achievements of the university. She also wished the students good luck for the future. Director of Student Welfare Directorate, Prof. AD Vyas delivered the welcome address. He informed that 18 different types of scholarships have been provided by MUJ. Under this, an amount of more than 6.5 crores is being given to the students. Pro. Vyas said that the scholarship budget of MUJ has increased four times in six years.

A documentary made on the life of Dr. Ramdas Pai was also shown on this occasion. In this, his work done in the field of education was highlighted. Also, celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr. Ramdas Pai by cutting a cake during the program. The newly elected office bearers of the Student Council were also administered the oath of office. At the end of the program Assistant Director, DSW, Dr. Babita Malik,  proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. Abhishek Srivastava, Hemant Kumar, Dr. Arun Poonia, Dr. Shyam Sundar Sharma, Dr. Amit Sharma, Rimpi Sharma etc. were present in the program along with the Deans and Directors of all the departments. The program was moderated by Devanshi Padalia and Vandana Kamra.
