Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari raised the issue of establishment of Kendriya Vidyalayas at District Headquarters including the Rajsamand constituency in the Parliament. She said that the various Kendriya Vidyalayas under the Ministry of Human Resources are doing excellent work. However, there are many areas that are deprived of the facilities of Kendriya Vidyalayas. On the occasion, she also met the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal and handed over a letter to open Kendriya Vidyalayas in the area.

On the first day of the Winter Session of Parliament, MP Diya Kumari asked questions regarding the number of Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country as well as the teacher-student ratio in these schools. She also enquired regarding the plans to open Kendriya Vidyalayas in Rajasthan. At present, most of the parents want their children to be educated in Kendriya Vidyalayas but their numbers are not enough.
