The Rajsamand MP, Diya Kumari gave a letter to the Union Minister of State for Railways, Suresh Angadi, in the Parliament House office. The letters outline various problems pertaining to the railways in the constituency. These were related to setting up of new railway tracks, the stoppage of the trains, the timing of the trains, etc. The Minister took prompt action and approved the Rs. 166.33 crores for extending the Nathdwara railway line. Diya Kumari expressed her gratitude on behalf of the residents of this approval.

 While conveying the other rail demands, Diya Kumari said that the Rajsamand Lok Sabha constituency is very large and this area is famous for its temples, forts, marble business all over the world. A large number of devotees and tourists come here from all over the country and abroad. In view of this, a broad gauge line in Rajsamand will give an impetus to the develo0ment of the region. It will not only facilitate passengers but also increase the freight load for the general public.
