In the presence of Rajasthan Agriculture Minister, Dr.Prabhu Lal Saini, on the second day of Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM) Udaipur, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) for 18 projects worth Rs. 487.96 crores were signed. The projects are for Cold Storage, Warehousing, Seed Processing Plant, Green House Farming, Food Processing, Onion Dehydration, Quinoa Processing , Garlic Grading & Processing, Private Sub Mandi Yard, Cooperate and Collaborate In Research, Training and Education, Milk Processing, among others. These projects will provide direct employment to 6241 persons and indirect employment to 1160 persons. On the occasion Minister of State for Mines, Government of Rajasthan, Mr. Surender Pal Singh TT was also present.

 

The MOUs were signed by Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Government of Rajasthan, Ms. Neelkamal Darbari and the promoters of the respective companies.

 

On the occasion the Agriculture Minister said that the agriculture sector in Rajasthan had huge potential for investment as can be gauged by the keenness evinced by the investors. He said that the investors will play a pivotal role in the Prime Minister’s vision of doubling the farmers income by the year 2022.

 

In Chittorgarh there is a project for Quinoa Processing & Value addition (Inner Being Wellness Pvt Ltd) which will be setup at a cost of Rs. 5 crores.

 

In Kota district there are three projects Mukundra Infra Projects Pvt.Ltd. (for Cold storage, Warehousing & cleaning grading & color sorting units at a cost of Rs. 33.45 crores); Azad Agro Enterprises (for Value addition of Agricultural Commodities at a cost of Rs. 5 crores) and Suvidha Agro Industries (for Cold Store at a cost of Rs. 6 crores).

 

In Jaipur district there are three projects Compucom Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (for Warehouse, Cold Storage, Green House & Bio Gas Plant at a cost of Rs. 20 crores); Ironwood Careers & Training Australia (for research, training, education at a cost of Rs. 37.5 crores) and Ratnawali Dairy Products LLP (for Milk Processing Plant at a cost of Rs. 9 crores).

 

In Baran district there two projects Satydev Agro Traders Pvt. Ltd (for Grading, Sortex and warehousing at a cost of Rs. 15 Crores) and Ram Gopal Kanhaiya Lal (for Garlic Grading & Processing Plant at a cost of Rs. 8 crores).

Similarly, in Sriganganagar district ‘Shri Navdurga Warehousing’ (for warehousing at a cost of Rs. 117.23 crores);  in Hanumangarh district ‘Suraj Agro Co-Operative Society’ (for seed processing plant, Warehouse & cold storage facility at a cost of Rs. 15 Crores); in Ajmer district ‘Shree Radha Govind Hi-Tech Agro Farms’ (for Cultivation  of Moringa, Organic Pulses, Vegetables under protected structures, Goat Farm, Birds Poultry Broiler Unit, Goat Cheese Processing Unit, Cleaning, Grading and  Sorting Unit at a cost of Rs. 24.5 crores) and in Alwar district ‘Vardan Agrotech LLP’ (for Green House Farming at a cost of Rs. 50 crores).

Furthermore, in Jodhpur district ‘Pavan Putra Wafers Pvt. Ltd.’ (for Food Processing Unit at a cost of Rs. 18.56 crores); in Bundi district ‘Olitia Foods Private Ltd.’ (for Vegetable Processing unit at a cost of Rs. 25 crores); in Sikar district ‘ Olitia Foods Private Ltd.’ (for Onion Dehydration Unit at a cost of Rs. 40 crores); in Nagaur district ‘Cytheria Infra & Powers Pvt. Ltd.’ (for Private Sub Mandi Yard at a cost of Rs. 40 crores) and in Bhilwara district ‘Hitkar Products’ (for Amla Food Processing Unit at a cost of Rs. 18.7 crores).
