The Mayoor School Jaipur, under the aegis of Mayo College General Council, Ajmer, will start its first academic session in April 2023. The school has been set up by the Global Institute of Technology Society, Jaipur. This launch is in line with the Mayo College General Council Strategy of strengthening its presence in the state. This was informed by Director, Mayoor School, Jaipur, Mr. Naman Kandoi at a Press Conference.
Mr. Kandoi further informed that the Mayoor School Jaipur boasts of a completely air conditioned school zone which is part of the greater 10 acre education campus. For holistic development of the students, the school has activities ranging from sports, extra-curricular activities as well as a unique pedagogy of integrated learning.
Senior Vice Chairman, Mr. Randhir Vikram Singh said that Mayo College, established in 1875, has a legacy of 150 years. A collaboration of Mayo College General Council, Mayoor School Jaipur will follow the best practices of the well known public school.
Secretary, Mayo College General Council and Director, Mayo College, Ajmer, Lt General SH Kulkarni (Retd) said that since 1875 Mayo College has been following the ideas of holistic education as stated in the New Education Policy 2020.
Headmaster, Mayo College, Ajmer, Mr. Navin Kumar Dixit informed that the Mayoor School Jaipur is based on a collaboration model that will ensure that the ethos of Mayo College will spread in India as well as different parts of the world. It is also based on a CSR model and not a business model, added Mr. Dixit.
Chairman, Mayoor School Jaipur, Mr. Rajkumar Kandoi said that the convenience of parents has been given the topmost priority in terms of timings, transportation, books, security, etc.
