St. Xavier’s School, Nevta has organised a 3-day Inter School Football Tournament: ‘Arrupe Cup 2019’. The tournament was inaugurated by Olympian sportswoman and MLA, Krishna Poonia. As many as 18 teams of leading schools are participating. This was informed by Principal of St. Xavier’s School, Nevta, Father John Ravi.
Exciting football matches were held in which St. Xavier’s C Scheme defeated Cambridge Court School by 2 goals. St Xavier’s School Nevta defeated S.J Public school by 2 goals and Jaipuria School defeated Subodh Boys by 3 goals. Similarly, St Xavier’s Nevta defeated Banyan Tree School by 4 goals, St Mary’s School defeated The Palace School by 1 goal and Neerja Modi School defeated St. Xavier’s C Scheme by 2 goals. It is to be noted that, the tournament will witness intriguing matches for the next two days reaching its culmination on 24 October.
