The four-day CREDAI Real Estate Expo 2022 being held at the Rajmahal Palace was inaugurated by the Rajasthan Industries Minister, Ms. Shakuntala Rawat. Also present on occasion were Chairman, RTDC Mr Dharmendra Rathore; RERA Chairman Mr N.C. Goyal; President of CREDAI Rajasthan, Mr Dhirendra Madan; Chairman, CREDAI Rajasthan, Mr Anurag Sharma; Convener of Expo Mr Girraj Agarwal and General Secretary CREDAI Rajasthan, Mr Rajendra Singh Pachar. Mr Anand Mishra, a member of the Organizing Committee of the Expo, conducted the opening ceremony. This expo is being organized by CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India), Rajasthan.

Industries Minister, Ms. Shakuntala Rawat assured to consider CREDAI’s request for grant of industry status to the real estate sector. She appreciated CREDAI for providing accommodation and other facilities to the common people by skilful planning and said that this organization is playing an important role in accelerating the development in the state. Ms Rawat further said that she would also invite the representatives of CREDAI to work closely with the Devasthan Department. She also expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Mr Ashok Gehlot for releasing an inclusive, people-centric budget in this session.

RERA Chairman Mr NC Goyal said that the real estate sector and builders have suffered a lot due to Corona. Such expositions will give a boost to this sector. Corona has taught that everyone must have their own house. RTDC Chairman Mr Dharmendra Rathore said that before Corona people were used to living on rent or in small places, but after Corona this thinking of people has changed. Keeping this in mind, builders are now paying special attention in designing their projects to ensure that social distancing can be maintained in homes if needed.

CREDAI Rajasthan President, Mr Dhirendra Madan informed that the cost of construction has increased by up to 45 percent due to increase in the cost of raw material. In view of this, leading developers have decided to increase the sale price of properties after the expo. However, the developers participating in this expo have decided to make their properties available at the old prices till April 11.

CREDAI members expressed their gratitude to FS Realty and ICICI Bank, the sponsors of the expo. After the inauguration ceremony, Industries Minister, Ms Shakuntala Rawat along with the office bearers of CREDAI visited the expo. On the first day, MLA Mr Rafiq Khan and Chief Town Planner Mr R.K. Vijayvargiya also visited the expo.

Properties ranging from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 6 crore are available on offer in this four-day expo. These include properties such as premium residential, affordable housing, villas, townships, commercial shops and offices, studios, farm houses and resort housing. More than 300 projects are being showcased by 36 leading developers in Jaipur, NCR, Jodhpur and other cities of Rajasthan. Daily lucky draw coupons are being given to the visitors.
