On the Foundation Day of Manipal University Jaipur, the university’s community radio, 90.8 Radio Manipal Jaipur was inaugurated recently. During the program, President of Manipal University Jaipur, Prof. G.K. Prabhu, said that Radio Manipal Jaipur will play a vital role in the development of the local community. He mentioned that it is a matter of pride for Manipal University Jaipur to be ranked between 601-800 in the international level “The Impact Ranking.” This achievement has been possible through the support of all teachers and staff. Manipal University Jaipur has also secured a place between 101-150 in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the second time.

Registrar, Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar, acknowledged and thanked everyone for their contribution to the awards and achievements received by Manipal University Jaipur over the past 11 years. Prior to this, Provost Prof. Jawaharmal Jangir highlighted the 11-year developmental journey of Manipal University Jaipur.

President of the University Radio Cell and Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Komal Audichya, read out the best wishes message of the Chief Minister of the State, Mr. Ashok Gehlot, on the commencement of the community radio station. She reiterated that the objective of the community radio is to create awareness among local people about health, education, and local culture. Dean of the Faculty of Design, Prof. Madhura Yadav, delivered a presentation on the best environmental practices implemented in the Manipal University Jaipur campus. Furthermore, in the presence of all members of the Radio Cell, including Deputy Registrar Dr. Ashish Sharma, Mr. Radhakrishnan from the Finance Department, Dr. Amit Sharma from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr. Dinesh Yadav from the Department of Electronics and Communication, Dr. Amit Verma from the Directorate of Online Education, and Secretary of the Radio Cell, Appoorv Saxena, local people were felicitated for their contribution to the creation of radio programs.
