Renowned educationist, Dr Jayshree Periwal has been nominated as the ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Jaipur by Somya Gurjar, Mayor of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater.
Expressing elation over this honour, Dr Periwal said that it is a matter of great pride for me that I got the opportunity to be a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. “This is an important campaign not only for Jaipur but for the entire country. It will be my endeavour to connect as many people as possible with this campaign and inspire them to keep the city clean. We all have to come together and make our city clean. For this, every citizen will have to fulfil their responsibility,” she said.
The educationist also encouraged the children and teachers of her schools to join this campaign and make the cleanliness drive a success. It is to be noted that Dr Jayshree is the Chairperson of Jayshree Periwal International School (JPIS), Jaipur. Additionally, she is also the Founder, Director and Principal of ten schools in Jaipur city. Dr Periwal has made a commendable contribution in improving the education system of the entire State and taking it to a new level.
