The lockdown has economically impacted the people in the State. In another letter to the Chief Minister, sent on Sunday, Diya Kumari said that a lot of people (including labour) from her constituency Rajsamand as well as other parts of Rajasthan work in other States. They are mainly in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
These people have left their place of work for their hometowns and villages in Rajasthan and unfortunately have got stuck on the way. In fact, a lot of non-resident Rajasthanis are on the borders of the State.
