Jaipur, 16 November: Like every year, Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) and District Administration is organizing the ‘Bundi Utsav’. The three day fair will be held from 17 November to 19 November and in addition to Bundi will also take place at Indergarh, Lakheri, Hindoli and Keshoraipatan.

‘Bundi Utsav’ is highly popular among national and international tourists as well as localites. The fair includes many cultural programmes, Shobha Yatra, Painting Exhibition, cultural exhibition, classical music and dance programme, Deepdaan, Maan Manuhaar, among others. Polo match, Live Cookery Show and Sports Competition will be the major highlights of the event.

On Thursday, 17 November, the event will begin with Ganesh Puja at Garh Palace in the morning at 8:30 am. This will be followed by Flag Hoisting and welcome of the guests. This will be succeeded by the beginning of Shobha Yatra which will end at Police Line Parade Ground. A series of events including grand procession, rope pulling, moustaches competition, turban tying, horse and camel race, among others will also be held. The Bundi cup Polo match will take place at 12:15 pm. A painting exhibition and photo exhibition will also be inaugurated at Art Gallery (3 pm) and Tourism Information Center (3.30 pm). In the evening there will be ‘Deepdaan’ at Naval Sagar at 5.30 pm and cultural programme at 8 pm.

On Friday, 18 November Industrial fair and Shilpgram will be inaugurated at 10 am at Higher Secondary ground followed by Maandana and Rangoli competition. On this day, a live cooking show with Maan Manuhaar will be organised for the tourists at  ‘Rani Ji Ki Bawari’. In the evening at 5:30 pm, a Deepdaan programme will take place at Jait Sagar followed by a musical performance on ’84 Khambo Ki Chatri’ by Ravinder Upadhyay from Mumbai at 8 pm. .

On Saturday, 19 November foreign tourists will visit ‘Pottery Village’ in Theekarda at 9 am. The visit will begin from Tourism Information Center.

The Bundi Utsav will close with various Rajasthani cultural performances at the Industrial fair.
