Regional President, Army Wives Welfare Association, (AWWA), Ms. Bibha Krishna today visited the shelter home run by ‘Rays – Ashaa Ki Ek Kiran’ at Shyam Nagar in Jaipur. The shelter home is dedicated to house and support HIV+ children. Ms. Krishna was also accompanied by other members of the AWWA. They were warmly received by the President of the ‘Rays’, Captain Gurinder Virk and Secretary Ms. Rashmi Kuchhal.
The children tied rakhis on the hands of AWWA members. Later, they rendered songs and also gave dance performances which were hugely appreciated.
On the occasion Ms. Krishna gave away gifts on behalf of AWWA. She said that she was very impressed by the performances of the children. She motivated them to work hard and said that there is no obstacle to their taking up any profession in life.
