The Manganiyar singers mesmerized the spectators at the Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK). The traditional Manganiyar singers, not only sang folk songs but also ‘bhajans’ of Kabir and Mirabai. The instruments used were: harmonium, veena, kamaicha, dholak and champa.
The programmer began with the popular ‘Kesariya Balam’. The artistes were: Haroon Khan (Composer), Bhuta Khan (kamaicha), Manga Khan (Sufi singer), Mustaak Khan (Dhol), Jassu Khan (Khartaal), Rafiq Khan (Champa master) and Esha Khan (Veena).
