Jaipur, 5 December: The 4th edition of Jaipur Art Summit (JAS 2016) is scheduled to begin from 7 December to 11 December at Ravindra Manch. Over 500 art and artists from over 25 countries will be participating in the summit.

Different forms of art, literature, craft and culture will all showcased during the Summit. The event also holds great opportunities for the budding artists and for everyone who have a taste for art.

JAS this year has something for every age bracket and at different places in Jaipur to make it accessible to the people.

Workshops & Art Camps

On 8 December a women artist workshop will be conducted by Kalashri at Ravindr Manch. Similarly, on 8 December a workshop for children in Tonk; ‘Art camp’ at Chomu on 9 December and at Kanota on 10 December will be held. A workshop on Art for Development entitled ‘Creative talent of children’ by UNICEF, Rajasthan on 9 December. On 10 December ‘Creative Workshop Art of Installation through Little Hands, by Jaipur based organisation, Earth Soul, will take place. Furthermore there will be an ‘Interactive Art Project’ Drawing Sound – A Digital Media by Vishal Rawlley from Goa on 11 December. Recently a workshop was also organised for special children at Ajmer.

Graffiti 

The city will also witness graffiti during the summit that will be exhibited at JECC in Sitapura, Kailash Tower, Tonk Road; Crystal Palm, Sahkar Marg and Marriott Hotel.
