Jaipur, 30 September: The two–day ‘Abhaneri Festival’ will be held at the Abhaneri village in Dausa district on 1 and 2October. The Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan in collaboration with the Dausa District Administration organizes this annual event to promote rural tourism in the area.
Like every year, the festival will witness artistes performing Shehnai Vaadan, puppet show, Behrupia, Raavanhatha, among others at Chand Baori and Harshat Mata temple. The festival will be organized from 10 am to 5 pm.
On 1 October, in the evening there will be various cultural performances like Mayur Dance, Langa singing, Kacchi Ghodi, Behrupia, Bhawai Dance while on 2 October evening there will be a Kavi Sammelan performance by Shri Abdul Ayub Gauri at ‘Chand Baori’.
During the festival, Chand Baori will be decked up with flowers and lightings. A large number of foreign and domestic tourists are expected to participate. The Department will also provide the facility for camel cart rides for the tourists
