A three-day calligraphy workshop began in the City Palace on the occasion of the ongoing Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The participants were taught calligraphy with the use of pencil and modern pen, under the direction of Ashok Vardhan and Ashok Sharma.
Through this, the participants were explained about the importance of calligraphy. Ramu Ramdev said that along with making beautiful designs – poetry, couplets, chopai, shloks are also written with the use of calligraphy. It is also necessary for them to practice calligraphy. In this three-day workshop, more than 50 children participated and practised the art of calligraphy.
