Member of Parliament Diya Kumari said that the role of women is important in the development of the nation. Women are not far behind in any field, women participation in agriculture and animal husbandry is more than men.
Addressing the Women ‘Sammelan’ held in Khatushyamji and Bidasar as the chief guest, MP Diya Kumari said: “We need to recognize our strength, we work with full confidence in whatever field we are active in. We should also learn from the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has made many plans for the upliftment and empowerment of women.”
The MP said: “Ujjwala scheme of the Modi Government has benefitted millions of women, while the Swachh Bharat Mission and the plan to build toilets in every household have also provided an opportunity for women to live with respect. We should work seriously in this direction so that more and more women get the benefit of Government schemes.”
