Curtain Raiser Press Release 

 

Jaipur, 20 May: A summer training camp (Sanskratik Virasat Prashikshan Shivir) is being organized at the City Palace Museum jointly by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum (MSMS II), Rangrit Art School and Saraswati Kala Kendra.  The art camp will be inaugurated by the Secretary of the MSMS II Museum, Princess Diya Kumari  on 22 May at 12.30 pm. There is no fee for participating in the camp.

Princess Diya Kumari said that the camp will be an appropriate platform for the new and upcoming artistes to learn about the traditional art forms.

The following well known artistes will provide the training – traditional painting (Ramu Ramdev, Shyamu Ramdev, Lakshminarayan Kumawat,  Babulal Marothia and Badrinarayan); Kathak and folk dance (Aditi Jain); Gitar & Sitar (Harihar Bhatt & Gaurav Ghatt); Yoga (Rajasthan Sawasthya Yoga Parishad); Photography (Yogendra Gupta);  Flute (R.D. Gaur); Theatre (Sartaj Narayan Mathur) and Light Music (Ahmad Hussain & Mohammad Hussain).
