Department of Art and Culture, Government of Rajasthan, Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) and Ravindra Manch are inviting proposals from artists for virtual programmes. Proposals can be sent in categories like – exhibition- visual art or photography, music and dance performance as well as films, theatre, drama and online training workshops. Those interested can submit their proposal to exhibitperform.jkk@gmail.com. There is no last date for sending proposals.
On the occasion, Secretary, Department of Art and Culture, Government of Rajasthan and Director General JKK, Ms. Mugdha Sinha said that there was a need to institutionalise the entire process of enabling interested artists to showcase their work at JKK and Ravindra Manch. So, a decision was made to structure the process by inviting artists to send their proposals via email. An evaluation committee will be set up to review the content sent for its quality and select the appropriate proposals. Ravindra Manch also has a video wall which artists can use to showcase their work. Proposals need to be sent with the artist’s name, address, mobile number, email address and proposal details, along with a visual or performing clip of the artist.
