Rajasthan witnessed the colourful and vibrant, Ranakpur Festival on 21 and 22 December in Ranakpur in Pali District. The festival offered a unique insight into the local culture and heritage. Fun activities like yoga, nature walks at the foothills in forests, visits to the Ranakpur Jain temple and much more was a part of the festival. The festival hosted tourists from all over the world.

On Saturday, 21 December, the morning witnessed a spiritual Yoga and Meditation session from 6 am to 7.30 am at Sun Temple in Ranakpur. This was followed by Nature Walk Jeep Safari from 8 am to 12 noon. The walk started at Forest Area in Ranakpur and concluded at Sun Temple. In the evening, there was Deepotsav at 5 pm at Ranakpur Jain Teerth Temple. This was followed by a cultural evening with colourful performance by Folk and Fusion artistes from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Sun Temple.

On Sunday, 22 December, there was again a spiritual Yoga and Meditation session from 6 am to 7.30 am at Sun Temple in Ranakpur. This was followed by Adventure Sports like parasailing, hot air ballooning by Nagar Palika, Sadri from 8 am to 5 pm at Helipad Ground (Near Hotel Mana). There were also  competitions like – turban tying and tug of war from 11 am to 1 pm at the same venue. This was followed by Horse and Camel Show by Horse India from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Ground near Hanuman Temple, Ranakpur Road in Sadari. The evening witnessed colourful performances by folk and fusion artistes from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm at the Sun Temple.
