Mavli Marwar Broad gauge is not just a rail scheme, it is a plan to connect the cultural heritage of Mewar and Marwar, added Diya Kumari.

On being nominated as a member of the Committee on Railways of the Lok Sabha, MP Diya Kumari expressed her gratitude to the Prime Minister, Railway Minister and the entire cabinet. She said that her first priority will be to complete the pending railway plans and demands in Rajsamand Parliamentary constituency.
The MP also hoped that the future will bring new opportunities for Rajsamand which will benefit the general public of the area.
It is to be noted that Radha Mohan Singh has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Committee on Railways in the Lok Sabha, while Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari has been appointed as a member. 21 members of Lok Sabha and 10 members of Rajya Sabha have also been nominated in the committee.
