On the appeal of Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, Rajsamand MP, Diya Kumari lit traditional lamps at City Palace in Jaipur at 9 pm on Sunday. On this occasion, the Rajgurus of the Palace, Pandit Dilip and Pandit Hari Jha recited Vedic mantras.
Diya Kumari said that by lighting lamps on the request of the Prime Minister, our countrymen have given a message of solidarity to the entire world. With this, all of us vow to move out of the darkness of the Corona epidemic into the light. She also called for encouraging health workers, security personnel and volunteers who are the frontline fighters of this epidemic.
