The 3rd edition of the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) will be held from 14 to 16 July this year. This was announced by the Rajasthan Tourism Minister, Vishvendra Singh, when the delegation of Federation of Hospitality and Tourism (FHTR) met him at his residence. The Minister said that the last edition of RDTM had been a tremendous success. He hoped that the next edition of RDTM would be equally effective in boosting tourism.

The delegation led by FHTR President, Apurv Kumar, also urged the Minister to declare the Rajasthan Tourism Unit Policy 2023 soon. The Minister said that the Policy was in pipeline and would be declared soon.

The delegation also expressed their gratitude to the Minister for the encouraging budget  of 2023, in which rationalisation of DLC rates have announced as well as concession on stamp duty. Furthermore,  the promotional budget for the sector has been increased to  Rs 1500 crores.
The major announcements of 2022  budget were giving the tourism industry status and the announcement of the rural tourism policy. Rajasthan is the only state to give relief and significance to the tourism industry after the setback it faced during the pandemic, the delegation pointed out.

Also present on the occasion were : Chief Patron, Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators( RATO), Bhim Singh, President Indian Heritage Hotels Association ( IHHA) , Randhir Vikram Singh, President of Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan ( HRAR), Kuldip Singh Chandela, Vice President, FHTR, Khalid Khan, Secretary, FHTR, Mohan Singh and President RATO, Mahendra Singh Rathore.
