Crusade against Gender Based Violence
Jaipur, 20 April: Sawai Madhopur MLA, Princess Diya Kumari will be the brand ambassador for ‘Save The Children’, an international organization dedicated to fight against gender based violence like female foeticide, sexual abuse, dowry deaths, domestic violence and on girl child exclusion. In this context, the princess released a poster both in English and Hindi at her office in Jaipur today.
On the occasion, Princess said that she was happy to be associated with the organization fighting against gender based violence. She also said that the Political Conclave being organized in Jaipur on 22 April against such violence is to be appreciated. She urged the like-minded organizations to join hands in this crusade. It is to be noted that apart from ‘Save The Children’, ‘Lok Samvad Sansthan’ and Centre for Mass Communication University of Rajasthan are collaborating for organizing the conclave.
Present on the occasion of the poster launch were Mr. Sandeep Soniand Mr. Ramakant Satapathy of ‘Save The Children’ and Mr. Kalyan Singh Kothari , Secretary , Lok Samvad Sansthan.
It is to be recalled that Princess Diya Kumari is already the brand ambassador of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ (Save the Girl Child – Educate the Girl Child) for Rajasthan.
