On the occasion of ‘Open Studio Day’, 7 participants of the ‘Sugar Aquatint’ workshop displayed their artworks at the refurbished ‘Graphic Arts Studio’ of Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK). On the conclusion of the week-long workshop, these participants displayed around 15 print works under the guidance of Associate Professor, Visual Arts, IIS University, Dr. Mahesh Singh. It is to be recalled that these students learned non-toxic methods of Sugar Aquatint printmaking by using a sugar solution instead of resin and copper sulphate instead of nitric acid.
