A Panel Discussion entitled “Community Innovations By Women” was held at Hotel Jaipur Marriott. It was organized by Women Economic Forum (WEF), an associate of ALL Ladies League (ALL), in association with Siyahi. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Global Chairperson of ALL Ladies League, Dr. Harbeen Arora.

The program kicked off with a kathak performance by Ms. Renuka Kumar dedicated on Nari Shakti. This was followed by a panel discussion on ‘community innovations by women’ by the panel of seven Pink City’s powerful women—Founder, We Care, Ms. Apra Kuchhal; Founder, Social Activist, Ms Rashmi DickInson; AVP Access Development Services (Pink City Rickshaw Company), Radhika Kumari; Renowned Designer, Ms Ritu Kedia; Sarpanch, Soda Village and social activist Ms Chhavi Rajawat; and Jaipur Marriott and the Chairperson for Community Innovation, ALL Ms. Monica Suri.

Dr. Harbeen said that women are the embodiment of God’s creative power, Shakti. Woman embodies the feminine aspect of God, through which he created the creation. God placed within women divine qualities of strength, virtue, love, and the willingness to sacrifice to raise future generations of his spirit children.

On the occasion, Chairperson for Community Innovation, ALL Ms. Monica Suri said that women should not try to prove themselves better than men. They should believe in equality. The core objective of this campaign is to get women from various walks of life to meet to discuss social empowerment, education, leadership, economic, business and social issues, she said.

During the discussion, Founder, We Care, Ms. Apra Kuchhal said that women should have a self belief that they can make a difference. They should stop depending on men for small decisions of their lives. Social Activist, Ms Rashmi Dickinson shared that at the policy level also, opportunities should be created for women. Women should stop behaving in a particular way which is determined. Sarpanch, Soda Village, Ms. Chhavi Rajawat said that honesty, empathy and education tend to bring in some change in the mindset of the people for a woman.

Fashion designer, Ms Ritu Kedia said that every woman has some quality in her and when she is motivated she achieves her path of success. AVP Access Development Services (Pink City Rickshaw Company), Radhika Kumari also added that women should focus on solutions rather than problems that they have to face in their day to day life.
