This was stated by celebrity stylist, Tanya Ghavri at an event ‘Around the World in 7 Styles’ organized by Jewel Saga at Shikaar Bagh in Hotel Narain Niwas. Known for styling celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, stylist Tanya Ghavri was in conversation with Creative Director and Co-owner of Jewel Saga, Ms. Sonal Sawansukha.
Talking about the fashion trends for the year 2020, Tanya Ghavri said that a full monotone look in colours like beige, grey, black, white is likely to be the raging trend. Apart from chaand balis, an over-sized maang tika and a choker are also go-to jewellery accessories, added Ghavri.
Sharing advice on choosing a look, the ace celebrity stylist said that it is important for an outfit to be event-appropriate and suitable for one’s body type. However, one must not always play safe and should try different styles as well. Tanya Ghavri further said that classics like saree, anarkali, pant-suit etc. never go out of style. Later there was an interesting rapid fire and Q&A round with the audience as well.
