TAPMI School of Business, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) organized ‘International Management Conclave 2022’ on Thursday. The theme for this year’s conclave was – ‘Restoring employment to pre-pandemic levels or better’. The event commenced with the welcome address by Dean FoM&C, Prof. Sudhendar Hanumantha Rao. ‘International Management Conclave 2022’ witnessed eminent personalities from both academia and industry who shared their valuable insights on the theme of the conclave.
The speakers for the event were –Mr. Sameer Nayar, EVP, Strategic Development, Oberoi Group of Hotels and Resorts; Ms. Bindu Venkatesh, VP, HR & Training, Oracle India; Prof. Amrita Dhillon, Professor (Economics), King’s College, London and Prof. Vidya Mahambare, Professor (Economics), Great Lakes Institute of Mgt., Chennai. The speakers shared valuable insights on the employment market in India pre and post pandemic and shed light on how the scenario was changing with people realizing the importance of quality life. India’s employment challenge is that more employable workforce is available and given the scenario in the West it can be a big turning point for the Indian economy. The speakers’ session was followed by a panel discussion which was moderated by Prof. Sudhendar Hanumantha Rao.
