MP of Rajsamand, Diya Kumari met the Union Tourism State Minister, Prahlad Singh Patel in his office in New Delhi. She handed over a letter for the Development of Tourism in Rajsamand. Diya Kumari said that Maharana Pratap is a sacred figure for the entire country and tourists who want to know about his struggles and visit prominent places related to him. Rajsamand too will be part of the circuit. Therefore, the development of Haldighati, Kumbhalgarh Fort, Diver Fort and other such monuments is extremely important.
Diya Kumari elaborated that the Pratap Circuit should be developed on the same lines as the Krishna Circuit under the Swadesh Darshan Yojna. Furthermore, all the places and forts related to Maharana Pratap should be fully developed and well facilitated. Their maintenance needs to be upgraded. She informed the Minister that the populace of the region are also demanding the restoration of the places relating to Maharana Pratap.
MP Diya Kumari also presented another letter related to parking facilities, roads, tourist facilitation center, pathway, etc at the Shree Nath Ji Temple under the Krishna Circuit Scheme. The MP further said that this temple is a world renowned religious place and is visited by devotees and tourists all year round. Therefore, appropriate facilities should be made available here.
The Union State Tourism Minister spoke to the officials concerned for taking necessary action.
