Inaugurated by Princess Diya Kumari

 

Jaipur, 22 May: Organized jointly by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum (MSMS II), Rangrit Art School and Saraswati Kala Kendra, a summer training camp (Sanskratik Virasat Prashikshan Shivir) began at City Palace today. The art camp was inaugurated by the Trustee-Secretary of the MSMS II Museum, Princess Diya Kumari with the traditional lamp lighting. Around 150 students are participating in the camp.

On the occasion Princess Diya Kumari said that the camp is an appropriate platform for the new and upcoming artistes to learn about the traditional art forms. The trainers of the workshop were facilitated by Princess Diya Kumari with garlands. In order to spread sensitivity towards the environment, the students of the workshop were given plants and parindas.

In the camp, traditional painting workshop (11.30 am to 3.30 pm) will be conducted by Ramu Ramdev, Shyamu Ramdev, Lakshminarayan Kumawat,  Babulal Marothia and Badrinarayan. Similarly, Kathak and folk dance (8 am to 10 am) by Aditi Jain; Guitar & Sitar (9 am to 11 am) by Harihar Bhatt & Gaurav Ghatt; Yoga (7 am to 8 am) by Raksha Dadhich of Rajasthan Sawasthya Yoga Parishad; Photography (8 am to 10 am) by Yogendra Gupta and Mahesh Hariyani; Flute (9 am to 11 am) by R.D. Gaur; Theatre (4 pm to 6 pm) by Sartaj Narayan Mathur and Music (4 pm to 6 pm) by Ahmad Hussain & Mohammad Hussain.
