Rajsamand MP, Diya Kumari, listened to the 100th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme in Kuncholi – a village in her parliamentary Constituency. Addressing the public and women present on the occasion, MP Diya Kumari expressed her appreciation for the programme’s power to reach the common people She stated that it is a powerful medium for bringing awareness about the different innovations happening in the country to every individual, including youth and women committed to nationalist thinking and ideology.
The MP praised the efforts of Prime Minister Modi for giving impetus to many social campaigns through ‘Mann Ki Baat’. She emphasized the importance of campaigns such as Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao and Selfie with Daughter in promoting respect for and protection of the girl child, while also working for the upliftment of the youth and women, farmers, soldiers, students, labourers, among others.
Diya Kumari also highlighted the appreciation that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has received from all sections of society, including artists, sportspersons, businessmen, intellectuals, and common people, for its broadcasting in different languages.
During the broadcast of the programme, MP Diya Kumari sat among rural women of Kuncholi village. While interacting with them before and after the programme, she encouraged them to share their views and informed them about the different schemes of the Central Government that they can benefit from.
