Vishaal Mathur from Jaipur has been appointed as a Membership Sales Representative by Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council (APSCC), expanding its reach in South Asia’s space and satellite industry. The appointment is part of the organization’s initiative to substantially expand its membership and to strengthen representation in the region. He is currently engaged with PT Telkomsat of Indonesia on an advisory role for the South Asia region.
It is to be noted that Vishaal brings with him almost 24 years of experience in the satellite, aerospace and broadcasting industry in the Asia Pacific region. He has led the sales & marketing, business development, strategic planning and regulatory approval efforts of broadcasters such as ESPN Star Sports Channel and ZEE Telefilms, and satellite services providers including MEASAT, SES, and Kacific Broadband Satellite during his career.
APSCC President, Terry Bleakley stated that APSCC is excited to announce the appointment. Vishaal’s extensive background in the industry will help APSCC strengthen channel partnerships and expand our presence in South Asia. The Asia Pacific Satellite Communications Council (APSCC) is a non-profit international association representing all sectors of satellite and/or space-related industries, including private and public companies, government ministries and agencies, and academic and research entities. The overall objective of APSCC is to promote communications and broadcasting via satellite as well as outer space activities in the Asia-Pacific for the socioeconomic and cultural welfare of the region.
