Jaipur’s 10 M Air Rifle woman shooter, Apurvi Chandela continues to retain her 1st rank at the world level. Her rating is 2200. Apurvi is the only shooter of the country having won 3 gold medals and a silver medal at World Cups in 2019. She is the first Indian woman in 10m air rifle shooting to have won 3 golds in one year. It is a great moment for India with the top 3 woman shooters being Indian in the 10 M Air Rifle category. The second rank is of Anjum Moudgil with 1656 rating and the third rank being Elavenil Valarivan with 1465 rating.
Currently, Apurvi is busy preparing for the Tokyo Olympic in 2020.
