Mr. Daga said that the Chamber will consider the request of the jewellers to arrange for land for setting up the Museum. Mr. Sancheti thanked his fellow jewellers of New York for having come forward with financial support to set up the Museum. He said in future too as and when the Museum expanded they would not be lagging behind for support. Mr. Lakhi offered a financial support of Rs. 5 crore for setting up of the new Museum building.
Earlier, Mr. Rajiv Jain said that the Museum – only one of its kind in the country, will not only be a source of education and inspiration for the younger generation but also for the jewellers themselves. It will also help in promoting trade and tourism in the State.
