Jaipur, 12 November: The fifth Shashi Kuchhal Memorial Golf Tournament will be organized on Sunday, 13 November at the Rambagh Golf Club, Jaipur. This tournament has been instituted in the memory of Late Shri Shashi Kuchhal, who was an avid sports person. Throughout his life, he had worked towards improving the level of sports in the state. He represented Rajasthan – a number of times in Cricket at various levels. He also served as a Joint Secretary in the Jaipur district Cricket Association (JDCA). He was a member of the Golf Club and was keenly interested in the game.
For past three years, the S.K. Memorial Golf Tournament has received huge appreciation and has been very well received by the Golfers’ Community. The scramble format which was not played ever in any kind of such tournament was also a huge success. This year too it will be played in the scramble format.
The vision of this Golf Tournament is to elevate the level of sports in the state. The Co-Sponsor of the Tournament is Shree Cement.
