MP Diya Kumari held lengthy and important talks in Jaipur with representatives of large industries like cement, tyres and zinc of the region to provide new employment opportunities to the youth of the region.

During the talks, MP Diya Kumari said that currently the employment crisis for youth in the region has deepened due to Covid-19. Efforts will have to be made in every field for a ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India) and ‘Vocal For Local’. Efforts need to be made to ensure that the youth of the region get better employment opportunities at the local-level. The MP said that all the big industries should organize world-class training camps according to their needs and criteria so that the need of foreign experts can be zeroed and local people can get the benefit of this.

Member of Parliament Diya Kumari also took suggestions from industry representatives so that the youth can be trained according to the set criteria. The meeting was attended by officials of Hindustan Zinc Limited, Ambuja Cement, Shree Cement, Nirma Cement, JK Tire Limited as well as Registrar Sushila Sharma of Indian Skill Development University; Dean of Manufacturing Skills Department, Anil Pratap Rana, and Vice Chancellor of Udaipur University, JP Sharma.
