On the incidents of rape of women and minor girls, MP and State General Secretary, Diya Kumari said that the mind is distressed by such incidents. I do not know when the daughters will get relief from this tragedy. News of rapes has been constantly in the headlines. Women and girls are scared and fearful of their safety. In such difficult times, the Government needs to take strict measures to protect women immediately.
In an email sent to the Chief Minister, the MP said that atrocities against women and minor girls have been steadily increasing in the State for the past few months. In which crimes like rape, kidnapping and murder have been prevalent. In the recent past, incidents of rape have peaked and it seems that there is no fear among the culprits of the Government, law and police. Criminals are roaming around fearlessly and committing heinous crimes like murder. Such incidents have occurred in Jaipur, Dholpur, Baran, Sirohi, Banswara, Churu, Sawai Madhopur, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Hanumangarh, and other districts.
MP Diya Kumari has emailed a letter to Chief Minister, Shri Ashok Gehlot demanding prevention of crimes against women in the State and strict action against perpetrators .
The MP said that for the prevention of increasing atrocities and rape against women and girls, the police needs to be given special instructions to stay alert and vigilant. Also, there is a dire need to take strict legal action against the culprits.
