Director General, Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK), Ms. Mugdha Sinha inaugurated ‘Mrignayanee’ Madhya Pradesh Utsav 2021 at Shilpgram in JKK. The exhibition is being organised by the Madhya Pradesh Government Emporium. It will be on till 28 March from 12 noon to 9 pm daily. Here one can find Chanderi, Maheshwari, Mulberry, Kosa Tussar printed Saaris and material, handloom bedsheets, ‘Panch Dhatu’ sculptures, Batik print, Dye work, Kharad work, Zari embroidery, Zardosi, Jute work and much more.
On the occasion, Ms. Mugdha Sinha took a walk around the exhibition and appreciated the unique handicrafts and products brought by the artisans of Madhya Pradesh. She said that Madhya Pradesh has a wide variety and exquisite fabrics to offer to the public. It is wonderful to see the best of what the State has to offer under one roof. One will be spoilt for choice with the vast and unique variety of handicrafts and handloom products at ‘Mrignayanee’.
