Industries Minister to be the Chief Guest
The second edition of the ‘Digital Rajasthan Conclave’ will be held on Wednesday, 23 August at Hotel ITC Rajputana in Jaipur. The event is jointly organized by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI). Industries Minister, Government of Rajasthan, Mr. Rajpal Singh Shekhawat will be the Chief Guest. This was informed by Head, Rajasthan State Council, FICCI, Mr. Atul Sharma.
Mr. Sharma further added that the event has been curated keeping in mind the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Digital India Programme. It aims to dwell upon state level opportunities and way forward under the overarching Digital India programme. The theme of the event will be ‘Transforming Lives Through Technology’.
Apart from the Industries Minister, the inaugural session will be addressed by Managing Director, Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO), Ms. Mugdha Sinha; Commissioner Industries, Government of Rajasthan, Mr Kunji Lal Meena; Director General, Software Technology Parks of India, Dr Omkar Rai and Partner, Ernst & Young, Mr. Milan Narendra. The welcome address will be given by Co-Chairman, FICCI Rajasthan State Council, Mr Randhir Vikram Singh. The Vote of Thanks will be delivered by the Member, FICCI Rajasthan State Council, Mr Sanjay Srivastava.
The conclave will witness two plenary sessions. The first plenary session ‘Digitalization as Instrument for Effective Governance, Public Service Delivery Driving Investments, Employability & Growth’ will be chaired by Member, FICCI Rajasthan State Council and Business Head, Mahindra World City Jaipur Ltd, Mr Sanjay Srivastava. Its participating speakers will be Director, STPI, Mr Rajneesh Agrawal; Director, Government Affairs, India & ASEAN, Symantec Corporation, Mr Deepak Maheshwari (Emerging Cyber Threats); Practice Partner, Government Consulting, Wipro Ltd, Mr Surender Rana (e-Governance – Reforming Governance through Technology) and Director, Solution Consulting, Digital Innovation Oracle India, Dr Niraj Prakash (Use of Cloud in Public Service Delivery).
The second plenary session ‘Accelerating the Digital Transition : Emerging Trends’ will be chaired by Member, FICCI Rajasthan State Council and Founder & CEO, Data Infosys Ltd, Mr Ajay Data.
