As many as 6 students of Umang NGO in Jaipur who appeared for the open board exams of 12th standard passed with flying colours. The students appeared for the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) open board exams in the general category in which no concessions were made in the curriculum. In the recently declared results, all the students passed with first division and distinction. The NGO congratulated them for their success, years of hard-work and dedication. They also appreciated the efforts of all the staff and parents who worked tirelessly with them over the years to make this possible. A student, Shreyansh Gupta topped the class with a total of 81 percentage.
Established in 2006, Umang is an initiative started by the loving parents, striving for an inclusive society that provides equal opportunity for all, by enhancing the quality of life of individuals with various disabilities. It is registered and recognised NGO working towards rehabilitation of persons with Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation, Autism and Multiple Disabilities.
