The Exhibitors’ Meet was held on Friday late evening at Hotel Marriott for the 17th edition of the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS). This year at the Exhibitors’ Meet, there was tremendous enthusiasm among the jewellers for JJS. This year the theme is ‘It’s Time to Sparkle’. The mega jewellery event is scheduled to be held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sitapura from 24 to 27 December this year. More than 300 exhibitors participated in the Meet.
On the occasion, JJS Chairman, Mr Vimal Chand Surana said that last year due to the Covid pandemic, colourful gems and jewellery shows could not be organized in the country and abroad. This year as the atmosphere is getting back to normal, JJS will be organized in its full grandeur in December. The entire team of JJS has been working tirelessly to make the show a success. There is a renewed response this year among the exhibitors for ‘The December Show’.
Secretary, JJS, Mr Rajiv Jain through an elaborate PowerPoint presentation outlined the layout of the event as well as the facilities that will be provided to the exhibitors. He also threw light on arrangements for transportation, transit of jewellery, security, among others. He also spoke in-depth about the Covid guidelines and safety measures to be followed this year by all exhibitors and visitors. The halls will be sanitised before and after the show each day. Masks and temperature checks will be mandatory. Exhibitors and visitors who have completed two doses of vaccination will be allowed to enter. Those who have completed one dose of vaccination will have to carry the results of their RT-PCR test for entry. Non-vaccinated persons will not be allowed entry to the show.
Earlier, JJS Spokesperson, Mr Ajay Kala welcomed the exhibitors and said that due to the popularity of the brand JJS, repeat exhibitors are around 85%. Jewellers and customers across the country are waiting for the Jaipur Jewellery Show. The JJS brand is a reflection of Jaipur and is a complete gem and jewellery show. Along with the retailers, the show is replete with various jewellery institutes, publications, young designers and knowledge sharing activities.
