With the aim of promoting and encouraging the artistic talent of school students, a 3-day art and craft unveiled by Princess Gauravi Kumari. The exhibition has been set up at the new gallery of Maharaja Sawai Mansingh II Museum (MSMS II) at the City Palace. The gallery, as and when, will be available for schools to exhibit their art & craft.

The exhibition was put up by the students of Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School wherein they showcased a plethora of art and craft objects curated by them. Colourful drawings and paintings like charcoal drawing, tile and screen painting were displayed at the gallery. Other works such as clay art, wood carving designs, doodling and caricatures were also exhibited on the occasion.

An art and craft enthusiast herself, Princess Gauravi Kumari said “Watching the students display their creativity and talent makes me nostalgic of my times at school. I have grown up practising art and craft myself and remember loving every bit of it.”

Also present on the occasion were, Executive Trustee, MSMS II Museum, Ms. Rama Datt; Consultant Director of Education, MSMS II Museum, Mr. Sandeep Sethi and Principal, Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School, Ms. Vaidehi Singh.
