Poster making and essay writing competitions
Jaipur, 24 January: On the occasion of the 9th ‘National Girl Child Day’, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum Trust (MSMS II Museum) organized a poster making and essay writing competitions on the theme ‘Save the Girl Child’ today at the City Palace in Jaipur. Around 100 Girls from SOS Village, MGD School, Kanoria College and Children of the City Palace staff also actively participated in the event.
The aim of competition was to help young girl students to analyze their experiences and deepen their awareness about themselves. The first three winners of both the categories were awarded prizes by theConsultant Director of MSMS II Museum, Dr Giles Tillotson and the Director, MSMS II Museum, Mr. Yunus Khimani. The competition was followed by a guided tour of the Museum.
The first three prizes in the ‘Poster Making’ competition were awarded to the Sakshi Patel of Palace School; Khushi Sonkia of MGD School and Palak Bhargawa of Kanodia Collage. While in the ‘Essay Writing’ competition prizes went to Adika Gajawat of Palace School, Khushi Gulecha of MGD School and Priyanshi Chopra of Kanodia Collage, respectively.
